You need to collect 10 keys to get to the boss. To beat each challenge you need to use the dice you rolled to add up to the challenge number (each challenge is shown on screen before you choose a path and while the enemy is on-screen) You cannot use two different dice for each challenge You may trade up to two dice per turn for keys, no matter the type Monsters have 2 challenges, the shield one is for not taking damage, the fist one is for an extra reward (dice that go back into the bag or an extra key)

Are the numbers exact? Because I keep on dying on despite what feels like should have been the challenge cleared.
You just have to meet the number for the challenge, shield with shield on monsters, punch with punch on traps. Last we tried it was working D:
